Carly and Kevin were first introduced to each other by Carly’s brother. Kevin had been playing slow pitch softball with Carly’s brother for years. When their paths finally crossed, the two instantly “hit” it off!

The Proposal

Knowing that Carly would be hard to surprise, Kevin chose a seemingly typical Monday to propose. While in the kitchen, where they had their first kiss, Kevin popped the question to Carly with her dream ring.

The Day & Design

True to the couple’s personality, the wedding was elegant and classy with a hint of whimsical, timelessly styled so its beauty would hold for years to come. The wedding also got an extra special touch thanks to the handiwork of Carly’s father. He made an arch for the ceremony, a frame for the escort display, and even a wooden sign and dowels for the donut display! The couple also made sure to pay tribute to the loved ones who had passed away by displaying their photos at reception.

The Couple’s Advice

“Remember to keep everything in perspective. While you want to have everything perfect, the day is really about the marriage that comes after your wedding day. Don’t let the details of planning ruin the reason you and your fiance chose to get married!”
